Moments in Mexican American History in the Southwest

The content of this exhibit was developed by Prof. Arturo Aldama of the Dept. of Ethnic Studies
at the University of Colorado Boulder in 2005-6. Assisted by Prof. Marjorie McIntosh in
conjunction with the Latino History Project, he drew upon an earlier exhibit by Phil Hernandez,
a member of the LHP’s community advisory committee. The layout and panel design was done
by Dulce Aldama. All text and images have been carefully documented for accuracy. The
exhibit was displayed initially at Norlin Library on the CU Boulder campus; later it travelled to
public libraries and schools throughout Boulder County and to the library at the Auraria campus
serving Metropolitan State University of Denver, Community College of Denver, and University
of Colorado Denver.
